The Preventive and Curative Solution for Coronavirus; More Than Thirty Six Million Naira

I heard that the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Honorable Minister of Science and Technology- Dr. Ogbonaya Onu has promised a reward of Thirty Six Million naira (N36m) only for anyone/institution with a successful cure or preventive approach against the deadly Coronavirus particularly in Nigeria. 

This is a welcome development. Although I will add that such cash reward is too little and diminutive for obvious reasons and for the peculiarity of the multifaceted devastating calamity the Coronavirus would wreck on Nigeria and Africa.      

According to a report published on the 13th February 2020 on CNN.com, Nigeria is ranked first amongst 21 Other African countries with moderate risk of importing the virus, but whose weak health-care systems, low economic status, or unstable political situation makes them highly vulnerable.

So Nigeria and the world at Large are presently in one of the greatest calamitous and dreadful times in history especially with the outbreak of a novel contagious disease- Coronavirus (Covid-19).

As you may already know, Coronavirus is one of the worst cases of infectious-viral diseases that has the potential to spread to the whole world especially coming through the strategic region of Asia and China where it begun.

Within the next 10 years, if not checked in time, Covid-19 has the potential to wipe out human beings leaving just a few survivours. But anyone reading this to survivours.

According to the WHO, havoc is eminent with the Coronavirus globally especially because it is time consuming even to test and confirm; more so it may not be detected at all in the early stage of infection.

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) has now been reported in 90% of the continents, except Africa.

There is a conspiracy theory surrounding the Corona virus outbreak as some people are beginning to think that it is part of a biochemical weapon program erroneously released by someone. Some say it is a leak from the P4 Bio-weapon Lab in Wuhan; the lad is one of the highest in the world.

It is arguable but truth is that mankind is behind the creation of spread of all viral diseases sometimes as bioweapons some of which animals are used as transmitting agents. But whether it is such a weapon or not; you can stop it from infecting through some preventive measures. Prevention is always cheaper than cure.
