1. Good location: Know the advantages and disadvantages of where you are or your business location. This is very important; it will help you to maximize value.  
2. Partnership: life, as well as business is partnership. Seek to partner with your friends and family in order to share profit in business. Don’t always plan to own your business 100%. His can help you in so many ways to succeed.
3. Hiring Good employees: If you must hire, hire those with the passion to succeed with you not just because they will be salary earners. And make them understand that they it is a build up process for them to succeed better and higher.
4. Raising Enough Capital: Most times startups don’t raise enough capital. They tend to believe in luck or something. Truth is that it is advice to raise enough capital to cover your recurrent expenses up to a year or more.  This will greatly help you to stabilize; to offer quality service for less.
5. Putting in Much effort: Efforts can be physical and mental. Most people make so much physical effort without mental effort. Mental effort is wide; involving careful purposely study, research about what is up and what is not etc and how to model yourself and business continuously.
6. Good Planning Culture: A hope is not a plan. So carefully plan your input and out and keep modifying same. Nothing is static; not even a plan.
7. Good Audience Targeting: There is a need to target a portion of people or location and work greatly on this than to leave it vague. Once you are successful with a particular audience, you can add others or they will come get you.
8. Choosing the Right Platform: Online or offline, leverage on an already developed platforms or market to sell your worth (products or services). I believe you will see a wide range of platform to leverage on.
9. Good Internal Management: Once you have people with you; delegate roles and authority. Don’t seek to do everything b roles.  But be flexible and motivational and keep good financial record even in the crudest form.  
10. Access to Credit Finance: This may not be in your hands. If you try and you get one, fine. And if you can’t, try to simply make do with what you have or use partnership to argument.
